Our beautiful family trees have become an important part of the bespoke range that Broadlands Pottery offer.
Our family trees came from a suggestion from a very good customer of ours who asked us for a family tree for his wife’s birthday. He gave us complete free reign to design something and following lots of drawings and discussions we came up with the idea of using box frames to house a family tree using birds for the names.
The customer loved it and the reaction we had from sharing the product was over whelming so we then started to create more trees and in many different colour themes.
Our small frames measure 35cm x 35cm and can at most fit 5 names on them, our slightly larger 45cm x 45cm frames can fit up to 10 names on them. Anything over this amount your frame will need to be made to order by our local framer. The frames are available in a choice of light oak or dark wood; the linen background will be chosen to compliment the colours that you have chosen for your tree.
The names on the birds are always glazed in the darkest colour that you choose for your leaves as this will ensure that the names stand out against the tree, we recommend choosing at least 3 colours. We can also add pets such as dogs, cats and rabbits and in some instances we can personalise these, you can if you would like to add either a heart with a date or name or you can add flowers to the base of the tree.
Due to the delicate nature of the product we can only arrange delivery for the small frames, if you choose the 45cm x 45cm frame or anything larger this will need to be collected from us at our studio in Huntley, Gloucestershire.
Cost of the small frames is in the region of £75-£85 depending on the amount of names, the larger frames are in the region of £100-£120. For any frames that are made to measure frame then the cost will be worked out once we receive your enquiry form.
We have included here just a small sample of the frames we have completed which will give you an idea on colour themes, we are always happy to discuss new themes with you.
